I know what it's like to build a life that looks successful on paper and still feel something missing underneath.
I graduated from art school in 2001 and spent the next two decades building a career in the creative industry — moving from graphic design, to art direction, to global agencies, and eventually into leadership roles at Meta across the MENA region and later the United States.
Along the way, I worked on award-winning campaigns for global brands like Vodafone, helped raise millions of dollars for nonprofits like Save the Children, and led creative strategy across international teams.
From the outside, it looked meaningful.
And in many ways, it was.

But underneath the achievements, there was a deeper pattern I couldn't yet see:
I had tied my sense of worth
to performance.
The next milestone.
The next recognition.
The next accomplishment.
And slowly, the weight of constantly needing to prove myself began to catch up with me.
The burnout didn't arrive all at once.
It crept in quietly — through pressure, overthinking, exhaustion, digestive issues, migraines, and a nervous system that no longer knew how to rest.
For over a year, I tried to solve the symptoms through conventional approaches. But nothing truly shifted until I turned inward.

That's when everything began to change.
Meditation.
Breathwork.
Stillness.
A deeper inquiry into the nature of the mind, including the teachings of A Course in Miracles.
Slowly, I rediscovered something that had always been there beneath the striving:
A sense of wholeness that didn't need to be earned.

In my final years at Meta, I began guiding meditation sessions for teams across the company. And when I was eventually laid off, something became unmistakably clear:
I couldn't return to the old way of living.
I had to build a life aligned with what I was learning.
So I followed that direction.
I founded One Mind Creations as a space for meditation, reflection, and grounded inner work. Around the same time, my wife and I opened HOTWORX Brushy Creek — a mindful fitness studio rooted in heat, movement, nervous system regulation, and community.

Together, these spaces became a living practice: learning how to lead, create, work, and live from presence instead of pressure.
Today, my work brings together everything I’ve lived through: creative leadership, contemplative practice, embodied healing, and real-life transformation.
